The Norwegian Railway Museum

The museum enjoys a beautiful location by Mjøsa, north of Hamar town centre. In addition to modern, indoor exhibitions, the museum has a large museum park featuring various railway buildings and track systems. During summer, a narrow-gauge train operates in the park.

Hunderfossen Family park

Guarded by a 14 meter high troll, and behind the gates of the 37 meter tall fairy tale castle the treasure of the Norwegian folk stories is kept safe in Hunderfossen Family park. Step insde and be a part of the fairy tales yourself.

Hunderfossen has its own trainstation - only 200 metres from the park entrance! You can go there by taking the Dovre Railway .

Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park

Few parks cover such a variety as Kristiansand Zoo, which is why the Zoo like to call themselves "The Living Park". Just 11 km east of Kristiansand you will find the most beautiful and natural zoo, with scenery and environment in abundance.

The Sørland Railway takes you from the western part of Norway over fertile hills and down to the gentle south coast, where Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park i situated.


Norways most modern indoor water park has a number of pools of all shapes and sizes. That includes an exercise pool, a dive pool with 1m, 2,5 m and 5 m diving boards, a training pool and therapy pool, childrens pool, wave pool and outdoor pool.


To reach Nordlandsbadet, you can travel by train on the Nordland Railway. The Nordland Railway runs between historic Trondheim city and beautiful Bodø in the north of Norway.


Pirbadet – located in the transition between sea and land – is Norway’s largest indoor water park. The spectacular venue houses both swimming and fitness activities. At Pirbadet waterpark most of the attractions are in one large room, meaning young and old alike can enjoy time together.


You can go to Trondheim by train using the Dovre Railway - a journey through stunning Norwegian scenery of the mighty Dovrefjell.
