Pets on board
Animals you can bring onboard the train are dogs, cats, caged rodens, caged birds and small turtles. Other animals can not
be brought on the train, such as insects, spiders, snakes and other reptiles.
Guide dogs accompanying blind passengers and trainee guide dogs always travel free on NSB’s trains when on service (in other
words, when they are fitted with a harness and a hand grip for the blind passenger). Other pets with a shoulder height of
less than 40 cm also travel free.
Please book your tickets via nsb.no
Tickets are also obtainable by calling NSB Call Centre on 815 00 888/(+47) 23 62 00 00 or at your local manned station.

the train and ensuring that your pet remains in the compartment during the journey.
- Please make sure the dog remains on a leash throughout the journey. Dogs and other pets may not be taken into sleeping compartments, NSB
Kafe or disabled/children’s coaches.
- Dogs and other small pets with a shoulder hight less than 40 cm travel for free. You pay 50% of an adult ticket when travelling
