Groups and individual travelers can pre-order food for the train ride. We serve Norwegian tapas and other tasty meals. The order must be placed no later than 48 hours prior to departure.

The Norwegian Culinary Academy is a centre of excellence for food and drink, with some of Norway's most prominent chefs and sommeliers, all of whom have a passionate relationship to flavour.
NSB Kafé is available on these lines
The Kafé is open throughout the journey. You can enjoy your meal there or take it back to your seat. On the night train, we offer a simpler evening menu. Children also have their own children's menu to look forward to.

Liereple – Apple juice from Egge FarmLiereple is a natural product entirely free of additives. The apples used in the juice are cultivated under optimum conditions in an area in which high summer temperature and much light provide a perfect balance between acidity and sweetness. The apples are carefully harvested and each apple is inspected by the farmer before being washed, ground and pressed.

Kjelstad BakeryMaster baker Steinar Baakind is the man behind the buns/pastries at NSB Kafé. The cinnamon buns and pastries come from Kjelstad Bakery in Toten and are baked with natural ingredients and minimal use of additives. The baking method is based on time-honoured traditions and real know-how and the buns and pastries contain real dairy butter. The dough is raised for a long time, as this allows the good flavour and moisture to develop.
HaandbryggerietHaandbryggeriet brews living beers that are neither pasteurised nor filtered. Dresin Pale Ale is only tapped for NSB Kafé. The beer is a light, refreshing and aromatic ale with a pleasant malt profile, brewed with fresh hops that give a fresh hop flavour and well rounded bitterness. Haandbryggeriet is a micro brewery located in Drammen, right beside Brakerøya station and with the Drammen River as its closest neighbour.
Kari Horpestad Hodne and her neighbours in Jæren love their chickens. So much that they give them the best quality feed from the Rogaland Mills nearby. The chickens grow at a natural rate and have plenty of living space. The proof is on the plate.
