Our new app lets you purchase tickets wherever you are, around the clock. Your mobile also acts as your ticket! With a few simple key presses, you can also get information abour your journey directly to your mobile. Start using our app today - it's your pocket-sized ticket machine.
Single tickets
It is easy to buy single tickets on your mobile, and you can also purchase additional onboard products such as NSB Komfort. Your ticket is stored on your mobile, so you need to bring it with you on your journey.
Season tickets
You can also use the app to buy and renew season tickets. For this, you need a NSB travel card to download your season ticket to. You can do this at one of our ticket machines.

To access this service:
- Connect to the Internet on your mobile. If you are unsure about how to do this, open the phone menu and look for the option to connect to the Internet.
- Select the option for entering or opening an Internet address. You will find this option by selecting Menu or Options on your phone
- Enter http://m.nsb.no, and select OK
You can save this search so that you don't have to enter your route each time.
1. Select the option to create a bookmark for the page
2. If you have the option, give the bookmark a name
3. Save the bookmark by selecting OK (or Save)
Timetables on SMS
2188 is the number for NSB’s SMS travel information service. In some parts of the country, you can also track the train's progress using this service. This service costs NOK 3 per text message.Text nsb and send to 2188 to receive a message which describes the above mentioned service. There is no charge for this text message. For trains in Eastern Norway and on the Oslo-Stavanger line, you can also find out whether the train is on time.
For example, if you’re at Drammen station and want to know when the next train to Oslo is, text nsb drammen oslo to 2188. We will then send you the time of the next train, and let you know the last station it passed through and whether it’s on time.
Or, suppose you want to travel from Drammen to Oslo after 8 a.m. (08:00) on 15 May, text nsb drammen oslo 0800 1505 to 2188 and we'll send you the train times. The service costs NOK 3 per text message.

Please note:
- Train times are available for the whole of Norway.
- Information about delays is available for most routes in Eastern Norway and on the Oslo-Stavanger route.
- Information about delays are for trains that are actually on its way.
- Trains can make up for delays.
- NSB adheres strictly to the Norwegian Personal Data Act.
