Buying your NSB ticket
Either you choose to buy your ticket online, using your mobile, at a ticket machine or at a station, here is how you do it!
Minipris
Every month vi make available thousands of Minipris tickets from NOK 249,- 299,- 399,- and 499,-
Family discount
You can bring a child between 4 and 15 years free on all departures. If you travel with children over 4 years, they do so at half price.
NSB's refund conditions

Student discount terms and conditions
The discount is available to students at universities, colleges, academies, pupils at state schools and approved private schools.
3D Secure
NSB uses 3D Secure for all our card transactions, whether you buy your ticket at nsb.no or using our app.
New fare and zone structure in Oslo and Akershus
On October 1st 2011, Ruter introduced a new fare and zone structure for all of Oslo and Akershus.
Transfer times
When a journey involves a change of trains, the tranfer time is defined at a minimum of 30 minutes for NSB Lokaltog (commuter train) services and 60 minutes for NSB Regiontog (inter-city train) services.
Group travel
It's always a great feeling to travel as part of a group. If 10 or more of you are travelling with NSB, you'll qualify for a group discount.
InterRail
With the InterRail ticket you can travel Europe by train. The price depends on how long or how many days you want to go - and your age.
