NSB uses 3D Secure for all our card transactions on nsb.no. Using 3D Secure with the app requires you to pre-register your card details on nsb.no.
You can quick and easily buy tickets on nsb.no by using the Travel Planner on the right. You can use Visa, Mastercard and Diner cards. Should you experience problems with any card purchases, please contact your card issuer / bank. Alternatively, call the NSB Call Centre on 815 00 888/+47 23 62 00 00.
Our new app lets you purchase tickets wherever you are, all day. Your mobile also acts as your ticket once you are on the the train. With a few simple key strokes, you can also get information about your journey directly to your mobile. It's your pocket-sized ticket machine!
To buy tickets using our app, you will need to create an account at nsb.no and add a payment card. Remember to confirm that you want to save your card details. If you already have an account, use that to log on.
Why is there a page asking for security code, etc. linked to my bank?
This is part of the 3D Secure standard. The ones issuing Visa or MasterCard cards can arrange for them to be contacted as an additional security measurement for all payments that go through 3D Secure. If so, you must generally enter a code from either a code card or calculator you have received from your bank. When you have entered the code and verified you will see a page thanking you for your order.
