Taking luggage on board

Our trains are designed so you can take your luggage with you, and carry and stow it yourself. There is an allowance of 30 kilos for hand luggage.

Luggage transportation
If you are travelling as a group, and want help with transporting your luggage, we have an external partner who can organise this for you. For more information, see porterservice.no or send an e-mail to porter@porterservice.no.

  • Ski equipment

    You are very welcome to take your skies or snowboard with you on the train.   
     

  • Cycle in summer – sleigh in winter

    Within Norway, you can take your bicycle with you on most trains. You will need to load it onto the train yourself and put it in the designated bicycle area. You must remove any luggage from your bicycle and leave it unlocked during the journey. Train personnel will be able to help you to embark and disembark, if required.   
     

  • Taking a pushchair/pram on board

    There is reserved space for pushchairs and prams on board NSB trains. They are carried free of charge.
