An exciting 8-minute ride to the top of Mount Fløien at 320 meters above sea level gives you a magnificent view over Bergen and the suburbs. Mount Fløien is also an ideal starting point for mountain walks. The Fløien Restaurant is a good choice for a leisurely coffee or lunch. It is open daily during the summer months, and on Saturdays and Sundays only in the rest of the year. On Fløien there is a playground for children and a souvenir shop which is open all year.

The funicular station is located 150 meters from the waterfront Fish Market. You have not really seen Bergen until you have enjoyed the spectacular view of the city from Fløibanen and Mount Fløien!
