The Norwegian National Rail Administration (Jernbaneverket) is cancelling the works at Drammen Station during the period 22 June - 17 July. The works had meant that there would be a restriction to two tracks at Drammen and extensive use of buses as rail-replacement services. NSB is now working to ensure that as many of the train services as possible will run as normal during this period.

There is frustration at NSB that the works notified for this summer at Drammen Station have been postponed. This means that they will now have to be done at a later date and that improvements for NSB's customers will have to wait. NSB has been working for a number of months to ensure the best possible service for our customers during this period and the arrangements now have to be altered at short notice. The change in plans was notified to NSB on 10 June and will involve substantial extra costs for us, for which we will seeking reimbursement from the Norwegian National Rail Administration.

At NSB, we are doing everything we can to provide our customers with the best possible rail service during this period, in spite of the limited planning time available. Separate timetables will be available on nsb.no for the different lines.

The planned works between Drammen and Oslo S in the period 17 July - 3 August will be completed as scheduled.

The key changes in the period 22 June to 17 July

NSB Lokaltog commuter service, line 440 Drammen - Dal
The following trains are withdrawn and replaced by bus services for Drammen - Oslo S departures:

Train from Drammen departing at 06.15 and arriving at Oslo S at 06.54 will run as normal.
Train from Drammen departing at 07.14 and arriving at Oslo S at 07.54 will run as normal.
Train from Drammen departing at 08.17 and arriving at Oslo S at 08.56 will run as normal.
Train from Drammen departing at 09.13 and arriving at Oslo S at 09.52 is cancelled and replaced by a bus service.
Train from Drammen departing at 14.13 and arriving at Oslo S at 14.52 is cancelled and replaced by a bus service.
Train from Drammen departing at 15.15 and arriving at Oslo S at 15.54 is cancelled and replaced by a bus service.
Train from Drammen departing at 16.13 and arriving at Oslo S at 16.52 is cancelled and replaced by a bus service.

Other trains on line 440 Drammen - Dal are withdrawn from Drammen to Skøyen. Customers are requested to take the next train between Drammen and Oslo S.

The following trains are withdrawn and replaced by a bus service from Skøyen to Drammen:

Train from Skøyen departing at 07.04 and arriving at Drammen at 07.34 is cancelled and replaced by a bus service.
Train from Skøyen departing at 08.04 and arriving at Drammen at 08.34 is cancelled and replaced by a bus service.
Train from Skøyen departing at 09.04 and arriving at Drammen at 09.34 is cancelled and replaced by a bus service.
Train from Skøyen departing at 14.04 and arriving at Drammen at 14.34 is cancelled and replaced by a bus service.
Train from Skøyen departing at 15.04 and arriving at Drammen at 15.34 is cancelled and replaced by a bus service.
Train from Skøyen departing at 16.04 and arriving at Drammen at 16.34 is cancelled and replaced by a bus service.

Other trains on line 440 Dal - Drammen are withdrawn from Skøyen to Drammen. Customers are requested to take the next train between Skøyen and Drammen. Our apologies for expected delays.
 
NSB Regiontog inter-city service on the Bergen Line
All trains on the Bergen Line will be running on their normal route from Oslo S via Drammen and Hønefoss to Bergen. Due to the planned works, the train departing from Oslo S at 10.33 and arriving at Bergen at 17.52 was to have been delayed and depart at 10.49. Tickets were printed with this new time.

Abandonment of the works means that the train will now depart from Oslo S at 10.33. For customers arriving at the later, delayed departure time, there will be a bus service running from platform 19 at Oslo S to Hønefoss, connecting with the train there. Customers on NSB Regiontog inter-city services on the Bergen Line from Lysaker, Asker, Drammen, Hokksund and Vikersund will travel by train at the train's normal departure time and not by bus as stated on the ticket.

No trains will stop at Nationaltheatret Station from 22 June to 2 August.
